Returns & Refunds

  1. YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND RIGHTS IF YOU ARE A CONSUMER

    1. If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel a Contract under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000) during the period set out below in clause 1.3. This means that during the relevant period if you change your mind or for any other reason you decide you do not want to keep a Product , you can notify us of your decision to cancel the Contract and receive a refund.
    2. However, this cancellation right does not apply in the case of:
      1. any made-to-measure, custom-made or special order products (including furniture and equipment);
      2. any product which has a security seal which you have opened or unsealed;
      3. any product which, for hygiene purposes, cannot be returned which includes but is not limited to list below:
        1. cosmetics;
        2. hairbrushes and combs;
        3. hair extensions and hair pieces;
        4. body jewellery, earrings or piercing tools;
        5. foot spas;
        6. scissors, thinners and blades;
        7. manicure/pedicure tools and sundries
        8. uv gel polishes & uv gels
        9. clippers, trimmers
        10. tanning solutions
        11. tanning machines
        12. nail polishes
        13. nail files
        14. Personal Protective Equipment
        15. Nail Polishes
        16. Hair Colours
        17. Professional Items
        18. Eyelashes
        19. Facemasks
    3. Your legal right to cancel a Contract starts from the date the Products are dispatched to you, which is when the Contract between us is formed. If the Products have already been delivered to you, you have a period of 7 (seven) working days in which you may cancel, starting from the day after the day you receive the Products. Working days means that Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays are not included in this period.
    4. In addition to your legal right to cancel as set out in clause 1.3, you may be able return any unwanted Products within 28 days of when the Contract is formed between us.  This does not include any items for professional use or items for hygiene purposes cannot be sold to somebody else.  Goods must be unopened and in original packaging.
    5. To cancel a Contract or return a Product, please contact our Returns Department by e-mailing us at info@savers.ie. You may wish to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records.
    6. You may also return an unwanted or faulty Product to our store. You will need to present the Product together with your delivery paperwork you will have received with your delivery as proof of purchase. This option does not apply to large/bulky furniture or equipment where you will need to contact our Returns Department by emailing us at info@savers.ie prior to any returns coming back for approval.  
    7. You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the Products excluding any applicable delivery charges you paid for. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 calendar days of the day on which you gave us notice of cancellation. If you returned the Products to us because they were faulty or mis-described, please see clause 1.8.
    8. If you have returned the Products to us under this clause 1 because they are faulty or mis-described, we will refund the price of a defective Product in full or replace it for a new product or repair,  We will not refund any delivery charges.  Faulty products must first be tested prior to replacing, repairing therefore they need to be returned to the store for testing by the manufacture before we can repair or replace them.
    9. We refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay.
    10. If the Products were delivered to you:
      1. you must return the Products to us at your own risk as soon as reasonably practicable;
      2. you have a legal obligation to keep the Products in your possession and to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession.
    11. If you fail to return the Products to us in their original condition, including outer packaging, unused and in perfect saleable condition, you will not receive a refund. If you are unable to return the Product to us we may arrange collection and the cost of the collection will be deducted from your refund.
    12. As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights are not affected by this returns policy. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
  2. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS RIGHTS IF YOU ARE A TRADE CUSTOMER

    1. If you are a trade customer and you are not pleased with your purchase for any reason we may agree to its return subject to the following conditions:-
      1. You will inform us of your intention to return the Product and reason by contacting the Returns Department by e-mailing us at info@savers.ie.
      2. The Products must be returned to us with 28 days of delivery to you.
      3. The Products must be returned in their original condition, including outer packaging, unused and in perfect saleable condition;
      4. The restrictions set out in clause 1.2 above equally apply to you.
      5. You should return the Product at your own cost to the address set out below. You are responsible for ensuring that the Product arrives safely to us so we strongly recommend that you return the Product to us by recorded post. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to Products whilst being returned to us.

        We can arrange collection, however, we will deduct our costs from any refund due.

        Alternatively you may also return the Product to any one of our stores.
      6. Refunds will be subject to the deduction of a handling charge equivalent to 20% of the refund. Delivery charges paid by you will not be refunded.  
      7. Products which are given free, as part of an offer, cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the full offer is returned.
      8. Where you have returned Products to us under clause 2 because they are faulty, we will refund the price of the defective Product, repair or replace this product. However the product must be returned to us for testing by the manufacture to verify that there is a fault with your product. Once this is confirmed we will issue a replacement/repair or refund. There is no refunds excepted on any Special order equipment or products. A 50% payment in advance of the total invoice amount will be required in order to place special orders which is non refundable. Should you not pay the balance on arrival of the goods, they will be discounted and sold off to recoup the cost of the goods. Salon Savers cannot be held responsible for any delays with delivery times of special order items which are outside are control like acts from god like natural disasters and global epidemics and once orders are placed and shipped fromk us or suppliers they cannot be cancelled or exchanged. Please ensure you ensure that all products on your invoices are correct as once they are ordered as they cannot be changed or altered once placed with suppliers.
      9. Hair Clipper & Trimmers.  Please note that snagging of hair is not a fault.  To resolve this issue please read your clipper manual on how to realign you blade or oil you blade.  Please also note that if you clipper is not cleaned and oiled after each use it will cause blade friction burn on your clipper or trimmer and you will need to purchase a new blade and replace it to resolve this issue.  This can happen very quickly with use and non oiling.
      10. Hair Dryers.  Burning smell or not blowing air.  Please note as per manual there is a dust filter on the back of you hairdryer.  Please follow instructions in relation to this to stop your dryer from burning out.  These should be taken off and any dust should be cleaned out of this area.  Failure to do this will will cause the dust to go back into the hari dryer motor and catch fire and burn the motor out over time which is not covered under warrenty.  Please make sure to properly mantain your dryer as per manual for long term use and to keep it under warrenty terms.
      11. Spray Tan Machines.  Spray tan solution contains DHA which is a sugar like consistancy.  When you are finished using your spray tan machine you need to pour any unused tan out of your cup back into its bottle.  Then fill the water with luke warm water and spray through the nossle to clean any DHA solution out of the machine.  If you dont do this the spray gun with clog with DHA and you will need to replace and buy a new spray tan machine which is not covered under warrenty.
      12. Scissors if you drop them or nick the blade with your comb or eletrical machine they will not cut correctly and will need to be replaced.  Damage is not covered under warrenty.  
      13. Nail Lamps, Should any of your uv bulbs stop working you must replace all of you uv bulbs to stop uneven curing.  If you have an led lamp and the bulbs go you need to replace you nail lamp. 

      14. Leads are not covered under warrenty as if you catch or pull them you can break them so you need to ensure you dont over strench them, snag them or pull them.

      15. Salon Savers will take back your WEEE on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis, free of charge at the time at any one of our Salon Savers locations nationwide. WEEE and waste batteries can also be returned to your local civic amenity site free of charge. Never put WEEE, batteries or light bulbs in any of your bins.
